Responsibilities
* Support the client to go out and enjoy his time outside of school, including visits to parks, walks, cafés, and shopping venues.
* Assist with outings such as trips to the hoover shop and Costas for a drink and a cake.
* Plan and suggest additional suitable activities for the client.
* Ensure the client’s safety by monitoring his sense of danger and lack of road sense.
* Provide patient, kind, and understanding support throughout all activities.
* Maintain a good level of fitness to support the client’s mobility requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Displaying a caring attitude, a good sense of humour, reliability and a positive, flexible approach to work.
* Observant and fitness suitable for supporting a young boy with Autism, ADHD, learning disability, sensory perception disorder, and genetic chromosome disorder.
* Enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) required.
