This individual in this role is responsible for developing new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers, alongside other engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
2. Provides a technical contribution to projects
3. Assist in identifying solutions to engineering challenges
4. Collaborate with the team to meet strategic and operational objectives.
5. Participate in cross-functional team discussions to drive project outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
6. BS or equivalent plus 3 years experience
7. MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus no experience
8. Proficiency in Python and experience with Microsoft Azure.
9. Familiarity with Docker in Linux environments
10. Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments
11. Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
12. Creativity, self-motivation, and acute attention to detail.
Nice to Haves:
13. Experience with .NET Core and modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js.
14. Ability to develop and enhance REST/JSON API clients.
15. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Mocha) and Agile development.
16. Understanding of event-driven microservice architecture and version control with Git.
17. Training in secure coding practices
