I am recruiting on behalf of my client for a Shift Engineer position based in Poole, working within a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing environment spanning 19 acres and housing over 5,500 assets on site. Shifts are a critical part of this role and are as follows: rotating shifts (days and nights), including weekends, with clear handovers required between each shift to ensure operational continuity. Flexibility to work shift patterns and overtime is essential for the successful Shift Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Engineer to join a well-established engineering function where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are at the core of operations. The successful Shift Engineer will play a key role in maintaining production output, minimising downtime, and driving engineering standards across a complex site. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant, working closely with production to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
