Overview
Lead Requirements Engineer role focusing on safety requirements management, with responsibilities spanning from system to combat subsystems. This position involves coordinating safety requirements flow-down, managing DOORS records, and liaising with subsystems, Safety Team, and suppliers. Salary up to £62K with great benefits. On-site work required 2 days per fortnight.
Responsibilities
* Manage all safety requirements that filter down from the whole boat into combat systems safety requirements, including recording in DOORS.
* Manage Requirements Decomposition (DSRs / 4SFRs / 5SFRs) after the Safety Team has completed their Analysis.
* Deliver reports to the Senior Engineering Manager for the safety requirements process.
* Liaise with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers regarding Safety Requirements.
* Provide specialist support to the Safety Team/Subsystems in carrying out Gap Analyses between Formal Safety Requirements and assumptive Safety Requirements placed on suppliers by the Sub-systems teams.
Essential Qualifications
* Experience using DOORS.
* Proven experience within requirements management.
* Demonstrable knowledge of the V lifecycle model, including INCOSE systems engineering.
* Degree qualification or extensive experience within a similar role.
* Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills.
