Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in south Leeds in appointing an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.

This welcoming Primary school in Leed provides a inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The staff and parents work together closely to ensure each child achieves their full potential. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a KS1 class and working 1:1 with a child with autism. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can help create an engaging learning environment for pupils.
Assignment details
This role is long term assignment starting November 2025 – Julyy 2026 (32.5 hours per week).

Person Specification
* Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
* Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
* Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
* Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
