Management Accountant sought for a construction sector business in Harrogate.The Management Accountant will maintain accurate records using sage 50 for a profitable and growing owner managed business.This Management Accountant role could suit a qualified or qualified by experience accountant looking for a full-time office-based role local to Harrogate.Main responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet
* Monitor job-level costs and margins across projects and contracts
* Post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals
* Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including WIP and deferred income
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Analyse cost variances and provide commentary to senior management
