Regional Account Manager (Yorkshire & North East Midlands) – Specialist Lending

About the Role
As Regional Account Manager, you will take full ownership of the Yorkshire and North East Midlands patch, developing and executing a clear strategy to increase broker engagement and loan origination. This is a field-based role with a strong emphasis on face-to-face relationship building and new business development.
You will operate as the senior commercial lead in your region, supported by a dedicated Telephone BDM, giving you the tools to both win new accounts and maximise existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow lending volumes across buy-to-let and residential products
* Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers through consistent face-to-face engagement
* Identify, target and convert new broker accounts across your territory
* Maximise opportunities within existing accounts to drive repeat and increased business
* Manage and collaborate with your dedicated Telephone BDM to ensure full market coverage
* Promote specialist lending propositions and clearly articulate key differentiators
* Consistently achieve and exceed monthly lending targets
* Maintain a strong presence within the intermediary market, positioning yourself as the go-to contact

Skills and Experience
* Proven track record in a BDM / Regional Account Manager role within financial services
* Strong understanding of the mortgage market, ideally within specialist lending or buy‑to‑let
* Experience working for a lender, brokerage or network in a business development capacity
* Established broker relationships within Yorkshire or surrounding areas (desirable)
* Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a field‑based role
* Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels
