Position Role: Platoon Commander ATU (Sc). Responsibilities: Perform the duties of a Platoon Commander delivering Army Reserve Basic Training (BT) Common Military Syllabus (CMS). Lead Platoon Permanent Staff and conduct all reporting functions within MS windows. Key responsibility is to PLAN, LEAD and SUPERVISE Army Reserve Basic Training Conduct Duties as Range Conducting Officer (RCO) Delivery Fieldcraft and Battle Lessons in a Platoon Context as an Exercise Conducting Officer (ECO) Fully conversant and compliant with all aspects of Basic training, either leading or supporting its delivery. Create Recruits Report Books and supporting Company Commander on G1/G7 aspects. Lead Recruits and inspire individual achievement as per the ARITC code of practice for instructors. Undertake any additional tasks as required by the CoC. Maintain regular engagement with own cap badge ensuring the individual remains SQEP within CEQ. Provide Duty Officer cover over specified periods.
