To provide a full, comprehensive, and confidential administrative service to the MDDLS team (Manchester Dual Diagnosis Liaison Service) and Homeless Service teams, based at Central Park, Manchester. There will also be a requirement to work from Hexagon Tower (Manchester) during the week, as part of support for the MDDLS team.
To be an initial point of contact for the MDDLS team and Homeless Service teams and respond to all enquiries in a professional
and sensitive manner, and to provide a responsive and comprehensive clerical and administrative service.
The Team Administrator will undertake general office duties including typing of minutes, reports, other correspondence, actioning any requirements identified within the typing, diary management and dealing with telephone enquiries from both internal and external agencies.
To meet the needs of the Trust, you may be required from time to time to work outside of your normal geographical area of work. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Trust.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •Recognised competency- based level 2 qualification in a relevant subject (, NVQ, BTEC QCF, Apprenticeship), or equivalent demonstrable experience.
2. •Database/Spreadsheet/Power Point Qualification/experience.
Desirable criteria
3. NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
4. •Demonstrate Administrative Experience. Experience of dealing with a range of people over the phone and face to face
5. Ability to prioritise and plan around conflicting work demands.
6. •Experience of minute taking to capture the main points of discussions / formal meetings.
Desirable criteria
7. Patient/service user background.
8. •Experience of using an electronic patient record system
Skills and Ability
Essential criteria
9. Evidence of great communication skills using a wide range of methods at all levels.
10. •Must be able to demonstrate excellent organisation/time management skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. Must be able to work to deadlines and well under pressure.
11. •Must demonstrate good literacy and accuracy skills and have conscientious approach to work. Must have an empathetic approach when dealing with colleagues and clients.
Desirable criteria
12. Experience of working closely with and giving direct support to service/operational managers for the service.
The Trust mandates all post holders who require a DBS for their role to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
