This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and teach high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and (if applicable) 5.
* Use data to monitor student achievement and implement interventions where gaps are identified.
* Guide students through GCSE/A-Level specifications, focusing on exam technique and marking criteria.
* Maintain a focused, respectful classroom culture using the school's behaviour framework.
* Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of a specific student group.
* Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and share best practices with colleagues.
Preferred skills:
* A deep, up-to-date understanding of your specialist subject and its relevant exam boards.
* The ability to adapt complex material for a wide range of abilities, including SEN and EAL students.
* Proficiency in using digital tools like Google Classroom, MS Teams, and interactive whiteboards to enhance learning.
* Competence in using school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Bromcom) to track and report on student data.
* Strong communication and public speaking skills to engage and command a room of young people.

* A genuine ability to connect with teenagers and understand the challenges they face.
