Regulatory Reporting Risk Oversight Manager | Leeds
£60,000 - £70,000 | Hybrid (once a week in the office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing Prudential Risk Oversight team as a Regulatory Reporting Risk Oversight Manager - playing a key role in strengthening the organisation’s regulatory excellence and driving meaningful impact across the business.
The Role
Reporting into the Senior Manager, you’ll act as a subject matter expert supporting the delivery of the Regulatory Reporting Risk Oversight Plan.
As part of the Second Line, you’ll provide independent oversight across a wide range of risks including:
* Funding & Liquidity
* Market & Treasury
* Capital & Financial Sustainability
* Regulatory Reporting
* Financial Reporting
You’ll provide trusted advice, challenge and risk-based oversight, ensuring regulatory reporting is timely, accurate and complete. This includes reviewing interpretations and judgements, assessing process and control effectiveness, and overseeing regulatory change - including horizon scanning.
This hybrid role offers flexibility, with the expectation of attending the Leeds head office once a month (or more frequently if preferred).
About You
You will thrive in this role if you bring:
* Strong regulatory reporting experience - whether gained in-house, through consultancy, advisory work or from the regulator
* Knowledge of COREP, LVR, LCR, Pillar 3 Disclosures, FSA017, FINREP
* A solid understanding of the UK CRR, PRA rulebook and upcoming regulatory changes
* The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-specialists
* Confident communication, engagement and influencing skills to challenge senior stakeholders
