Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of Field Support Supervisors to ensure the day-to-day running of the service(s).
* Develop and implement person-centred support plans and conduct care needs assessments.
* Recruit and induct new colleagues; complete supervisions and appraisals.
* Complete medication competencies and medication audits; attend multi-disciplinary meetings.
* Complete quarterly audits and reports; manage the service's P&L alongside the Registered Manager.
* Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the DCA in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Participate in the on-call rota (subject to service needs).
* Work with local authorities, healthcare professionals and families to support people in gaining more independence and achieving positive outcomes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care management role.
* Hold or be willing to study for a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
* Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
