Job Title: English Teacher Location: Barnsley (S70, S71) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Inspire pupils to explore literature, develop communication skills, and achieve academic success. As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that enhance pupils’ reading, writing, and analytical skills while fostering a love of language. Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver English lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and discussion. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Support literacy initiatives and extracurricular activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
