Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for a Pipe Welders mate to work at various sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting pipefitters & welders with the preparation and setup of pipe fabrications.
2. Handling and positioning steel pipework for welding.
3. Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces / weld end preparations.
4. Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
5. Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
6. Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
7. Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.
8. Must have experience using Burning Equipment
9. Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
10. CSCS card
