Job Description
Key Duties:
1. Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.
2. Carry out TPMs and ensure documentation is completed.
3. Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
4. Monitor stores stock and usage.
5. Apply best practice operation maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
6. Progress and complete project work on site.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Mechanical/Electrical Technician (preferably 60/40).
* Minimum of 3 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Proven mechanical skills, with knowledge in the plastics/injection molding industry preferable.
* H&S accreditation is advantageous.
* Hold a valid 18th Edition Certificate (not essential).
* Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
* Experience in using PPM systems.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Focus on improving efficiency in the maintenance department.
* Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
* Willing to be flexible and work occasional overtime shifts.
