Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
Our paediatric clients (siblings) need support to live in their own home due to an inherited condition. You will help manage their PEG feeds, medication and mobility as well as help maintain their airways and ideally have suction and airway management experience..
Qualifications
Experience in complex care with PEG feeding and Airway Management is essential for this role, ideally you should have some experience working with children. Nurse Led training will be provided.
