Job Title: Social Worker - Multi Agency Child Protection Team
Salary: £33699 - £41771 (plus £4000 market forces) and £3000 annual retention payment
Hours: 37 Hours per Week

Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out child protection investigations and safety planning.
* Attend strategy discussions and undertake child protection enquiries until their conclusion.
* Make appropriate recommendations to ensure families receive timely and appropriate support and intervention to reduce risk and escalating needs.
* Manage SUDi/C joint work with partners and MASH case discussions.
* Work within one of the three district areas (Redditch/Wychavon, Worcester/Malvern, and Bromsgrove/Wyre Forest).
* Be part of a team led by two experienced Team Managers and supported by Advanced Social Work Practitioners who provide guidance on complex child protection matters.
* Develop a culture of learning, critical thinking and reflective practice within the team.
* For eligible cases, enable timely responses to children by working with families in their communities and building strong trusted relationships with community partners.
Qualifications
* 2+ years post-qualifying social work experience with significant knowledge and experience of child protection.
* Ability to apply the levels of need guidance and to work in partnership with appropriate services to provide right response at the right time.
