Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer
RSK Geosciences are recruiting a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join the team based in Castleford, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities.
Responsibilities
* Participate in a variety of geo-environmental projects for external clients and for other teams within RSK;
* Assist with ground investigations and desk studies;
* Conduct soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling;
* Write factual and interpretative reports;
* Prepare factual site investigation data;
* Travel to other offices and sites within the UK as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in geology, geophysics, surveying or geosciences;
* Clear communicator, outgoing and a team player;
* Happy to be challenged by demanding site work, and the technical interpretation and reporting of site data;
* Looking to work for the UK's leading geoscience consultancy/contractor.
