We are currently seeking a Band 4 Associate Practitioner specializing in Histology to join our client’s team in North East of England. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established private laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and embed tissue samples
* Perform microtomy and stain slides for microscopic examination
* Support pathologists in diagnostic reporting
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration not required
* Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
* Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
* Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* NHS experience (preferred)
