A leading London‑based investment bank is looking to hire an Treasury Analyst within its Operations function, to support the smooth, well‑controlled running of treasury and banking operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with back‑office or treasury operations experience who is ready to step up and take on more responsibility and exposure.
The role
You will:
* Support daily operations of the treasury back office, including trade capture and verification, settlements, and reconciliations across a range of products.
* Manage the onboarding and periodic review of treasury counterparties, ensuring KYC and internal approvals are completed accurately and on time.
* Assist in preparing management information and regulatory/oversight reporting, including liquidity reporting and regulatory submissions (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, REP017).
* Coordinate with internal teams (Treasury, Front Office, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT) and external vendors on operational and system-related matters.
* Contribute to projects covering third‑party risk management, operational resilience, and continuous process improvement.
* Act as a key support to the Head of Operations, providing cover for core tasks during periods of absence or peak activity.
* Review and maintain departmental procedures and process documentation, ensuring they remain accurate and compliant.
* Support the administration of online deposit products, including dealing with customer queries and providing call‑handling support during busy periods.
What we’re looking for
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
* At least 1 year’s experience in banking back‑office operations or treasury back‑office functions.
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (confident with formulas and basic analysis/reporting).
* Strong attention to detail, with a control‑mindset and good awareness of operational risk.
* Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
