Position: Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Officer Job Summary: As HSE Officer, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace across the Camlin Group including its sub-divisions – Camlin energy and Camlin Rail. This includes supporting compliance with legal requirements, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in Camlin’s safety culture. Responsibilities Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments Conduct local and international site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and completed Support the delivery of HSE training programs, inductions, and toolbox talks Companywide. Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, and compliance using Camlin’s HSE management systems Collaborate with operational and field service teams to ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place and adhered to Monitor contractor compliance and support pre-qualification / due-diligence processes Promote awareness of emergency preparedness, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures Assist in environmental monitoring and sustainability initiatives Stay up to date with relevant legislation, standards, and industry developments Qualifications & Skills – Essential Criteria NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years of experience within HSE Officer role. Excellent verbal communication, written reporting, and interpersonal skills Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and willingness to travel to satellite locations globally, as required.
