Temp - Reception/Admin position (Maternity Cover)
Starting May - end of December 2026 (possibly until February 2027).
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 30 minute lunch break.
Pay - £13.45 per hour.
Location - Dumfries and Galloway.
Our client based in Dumfries and Galloway need a receptionist on a temp basis to cover maternity leave. The role starts 18th May and continues until end of December 2026, with potential extension until February 2027.
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for the business, seating at the reception desk alongside a colleague.
* Meeting and greeting customers who have appointments.
* Announcing guests’ arrivals to the correct person.
* Answering and transferring phone calls.
* Daily admin duties.
* Working with MS Word and Excel.
* Recording data.
* Placing online orders.
* Assisting colleagues with any other requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous reception experience.
* Admin experience in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proficient in Word and Excel.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced reception/admin office.
