About The Role Are you ready to take the lead on delivering impactful infrastructure projects in Herefordshire? Join our dynamic Design & Build Delivery Team as a Construction Supervisor and play a key role in shaping the future of our communities. As a Construction Supervisor, you’ll report to the Area Delivery Manager and be directly responsible for supervising the delivery of schemes on-site. You’ll work closely with both BBLP Operatives and third-party contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing Act as the vital link between designers and operational teams/subcontractors. Supervise works carried out by BBLP teams and subcontractors. Ensure all works proceed in line with design specifications and risk assessments. Confirm CDM requirements are met before schemes go to site. Prepare Health & Safety plans and scopes for review. Manage site readiness, including materials and plant. Obtain necessary work and ecological permits. Liaise regularly with designers and provide site progress updates. Maintain customer liaison and ensure safe site operations. Offer expert advice to the Design & Build team on execution of works. Support other teams within the group as needed. Who we're looking for Skills & Attributes Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills. Motivated, team-oriented, and flexible with a willingness to travel. Confident in influencing and motivating others. Technical Competencies HND/HNC in construction or equivalent experience. Solid understanding of construction methods, CDM regulations, and risk management. Experience working on and off the public highway. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). CSCS Card and SMSTS certification required.
