Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Stoke‑On‑Trent for a Deputy Manager – Supported Accommodation. The Deputy Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring delivery of high‑quality care and support services for young people transitioning to independence. Responsibilities include supervising the staff team, maintaining regulatory compliance, creating individual support plans, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, managing budgets, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the service.
Qualifications
* Experience in team supervision, leadership, and staff management
* Strong knowledge of supported accommodation services and regulatory compliance
* Skills in case management, risk assessment, and creating personalized support plans
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well‑being of children and young people
* Familiarity with budgeting, resource management, and operational oversight is desirable
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field; a Level 3/5 Diploma or equivalent is preferred
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
