Technical Services ManagerLuton | Up to £55,000 per annumWe are looking for a knowledgeable and hands‑on Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of technical and operational services on a Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract based in Luton.This role is key to ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard. While the focus will be on technical and operational excellence, this is still a highly visible role requiring strong people management skills and confidence when working with clients and stakeholders.The RoleAs Technical Services Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day operational performance of the contract, providing technical oversight across hard services while supporting teams to deliver excellent outcomes for the client.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and operational leadership to on‑site teams and specialist subcontractorsEnsure all services are delivered in line with contractual KPIs, SLAs and statutory requirementsAct as a key operational point of contact for the client, supporting site meetings and escalationsMaintain high standards of health & safety compliance across all service linesManage planned and reactive maintenance activity, ensuring minimal disruption to the clientSupport financial control through monitoring cost performance and efficiency opportunitiesContribute to performance reporting and service reviewsIdentify and implement service improvements, standardisation and innovation across the contractSupport catering and service teams where required, bringing a collaborative, one‑team approachAbout YouSeveral years of technical management experience within FMStrong people manager who enjoys leading, developing and supporting teamsConfident and professional communicator, comfortable operating in a client‑facing environmentGood understanding of health & safety, compliance and technical standardsOrganised, proactive and solutions‑focused in approachRelevant technical qualifications essentialWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a credible, approachable and capable leader — someone with presence, practical knowledge and the ability to bring teams with them.
