We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated advanced practitioner for plain film reporting. The role will include assisting with the day to day workload of a busy, high performing radiology department and the direct delivery of an effective radiographer reporting service.
NHSG Radiology Department provides imaging services to approximately 620,000 people living in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian is in an exciting phase of modernisation of which Radiology is key. The Board are investing £120 million for the Baird Family Hospital which will bring together maternity, gynaecology and breast services on one site along with The ANCHOR Centre which will provide outpatient and day-patient treatment for patients with cancer and blood disorders. Radiology is also scheduled to benefit from significant investment through the Elective Care program and is a key component to the NHS Grampian Major Trauma Centre. Regional planning is also underway through aligned national and regional programmes of work.
For this post, the candidate will require postgraduate qualification in one or more radiographer reporting disciplines at master’s level equivalent. Also current experience of performing independent radiographer reporting at advanced practitioner level.
