Where We Need You: Senior Managers execute all aspects of client engagements, maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. Senior Managers will have a comprehensive understanding of their client’s business and be able to demonstrate technical expertise. Senior Managers ensure quality and client satisfaction on engagements and must be able to clearly articulate the value drivers of our business. A Senior Manager is responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients and is responsible for project set up and economics. What You Can Expect: · Managing conduct risks, considering regulatory change and implementation, and designing and delivering customer remediation events. · Typical projects include Consumer Duty, Governance, Culture and Controls, regulatory applications and authorisations, and non-financial risk transformation. · Manage the delivery of client engagements against Protiviti’s standards for engagement management within the risk and compliance solution, including: Managing both Protiviti and client employees. Project and programme planning, execution and tracking Development and quality assurance of engagement deliverables Reporting and presenting to senior client and Protiviti staff on project deliverables status and risk. · Effectively develop and manage client relationships with senior stakeholders. · Develop proposals and bid materials for client advisory/ consulting engagements with existing and new clients primarily within the Risk & Compliance team. · Demonstrate expertise in specific technical areas and/or industries. · Develop Protiviti go-to-market propositions and thought leadership. · Market and enhance Protiviti’s profile in the Financial Services market through: Excellent delivery and client management on engagements Development of client opportunities through the identification of new engagement opportunities and leveraging relationships within engagements Maintaining client contacts made through the course of the individual’s career. Representing Protiviti at conferences and other external events Promoting Protiviti’s values and philosophies · Contribute to employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities, initiating and conducting training. Do Your Talents Include the Following? · We do not expect anyone to have experience across all of these, but we are looking for individuals with experience of delivering regulatory projects, including but not limited to any of the following areas: Consulting experience in Retail Financial Services Retail conduct experience and/or remediation in large, complex retail firms. Strong awareness and understanding of the impact of regulation on firms' business models and the changes required to improve how regulatory and conduct risk is managed, including customer outcomes; and an ability to practically apply solutions. An expert understanding of the UK regulatory conduct regime and Consumer Duty. Deep understanding of the customer journey/experience in a regulated environment · Experience developing risk-based frameworks, policies, procedures and checklists that promote best practice. · Contributed to the design and implementation of target operating models for an effective Compliance function or regulation-impacted process. · Proven background in business development and ability to foster relationships within the business community. · Strong track record of employee development through mentoring, creating development opportunities, providing regular constructive feedback, and initiating and conducting training. · Ability to manage engagement risk (including monitoring of costs, managing project timescales and ensuring activities are kept to agreed scope as well as the quality of deliverables). · Beneficial to have some experience delivering internal audit engagements. Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid working model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon client needs. The ratio of remote to in-person work varies by client and project. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year.
