Overview
A skilled and proactive QA Engineer is required to join a specialist technology company providing innovative solutions to hedge funds, asset managers, commodities traders, and other financial institutions worldwide. Based in the beautiful Cotswolds, this is an opportunity to work in a growing business with an excellent reputation, where the decisions you make will have a direct impact on the company and its products.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, NUnit, Postman, or similar tools
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback on builds and deployments
* Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation ensuring complete coverage
* Conduct manual and exploratory testing where automation is not feasible
* Analyse test results, report on quality metrics, and highlight risks or gaps in coverage
* Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure early issue detection during design and requirements reviews
* Champion QA best practices across the team and act as a subject matter expert for testing and automation
Skills & Experience Required
* At least 3 years’ experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, NUnit, or Postman
* Solid understanding of QA frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
* Knowledge of API testing and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse root causes of issues
* Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Excellent communication skills and strong documentation abilities
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently or within a team
Salary & Benefits
They are offering a salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 + performance-related bonus, 28 days holiday, and hybrid working with 3 days in their office a week in Chipping Norton.
