Working at venture People is a role like no other. We provide support to vulnerable adults often as they are discharged from Psychiatric Services. Job Opportunity
You will be working with our complex need clients, providing support in line with recovery goals identified in partnership with them.
We recognise that the client is at the heart of our service and each package is tailored specifically to their needs and with their input. We also understand that recovery is subjective and approach all clients with therapeutic optimism.
Many of our staff have experience in or enthusiasm for providing support to mental health clients and enjoy working for us due to:

We provide bespoke, community-based support packages to individuals with complex needs, including a mental health diagnosis.
Essential Skills
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience, ideally Mental Health/LD/Neurodiverse support.
* Ability to positively address and challenge inappropriate or negative behaviours and attitudes.
* Experience of using therapeutic de-escalation and/or crisis intervention techniques.
* Able to respond to changes in an individual’s needs and meet deadlines.
* To encourage and manage participation and involvement from the people we support.
* Computer literate, with confidence in using all Microsoft office programmes
Desired Skills:
It would be desirable for you to have had experience supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based service.
