Overview
The District lies within the National Forest and is one of the fastest growing in the Midlands. This presents both challenges and opportunities for the Council to utilise its property assets to enhance service delivery and encourage economic development. The Council’s Corporate Property Unit is a small team responsible for managing and maintaining the Council’s property portfolio.
A vacancy has arisen for a Property Surveyor responsible for the provision of estate management and valuation services. In this varied role you will be responsible for day-to-day estate management of the Council’s property including lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals and repairs, including EPC compliance. You will also support other activities in both Asset Management and Facilities Management.
