Success Recruit is proud to be working with a forward-thinking and inclusive organisation based in Central Essex, who are excited to welcome a Finance Administrator to their growing team. This newly created role offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their finance / accounts career or with a strong passion to enter and join a supportive and experienced team.

This is more than just a finance role it s an opportunity to play a key part in the organisation s continued growth and success. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator will provide essential day-to-day financial and administrative support, while gaining valuable experience across a variety of finance functions.

The successful Finance Administrator will be expected to:

Purpose of the role

This is a key support role within the finance department, working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of financial operations. Using the organisation s CRM and accounting software, the Finance Administrator will contribute to the effective running of the business s financial systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about building a career in finance, enjoys learning new skills, and thrives in a collaborative, service-focused environment. Duties include but not limited to:

Recording and allocating all daily income, and setting up new donor accounts when required

Processing cheques and cash receipts

Supporting the monthly bank reconciliation process

Managing and recording petty cash transactions

Assisting with staff expenses and corporate card expenditure

Logging daily operational spend into the accounting system

Supporting internal departments with payment processes

Providing administrative assistance to the Finance Manager and Director of Finance & Resources, including cross-departmental collaboration

Assisting with the month-end process and year-end audit preparation

Representing the business at events and contributing to external projects

Hours: 35 Hour Week 8am 6pm Flexible working hours available starting between 8am 10am and 4pm 6pm

Salary: £24,900
