Overview
Lookers Buckinghamshire Jaguar Land Rover are recruiting for a Mechanic / Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing repairs as needed. You will report to the aftersales manager who will provide ongoing support to help you succeed. Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
* Service vehicles and perform repairs as required
* Support the workshop team to deliver first-class customer service
* Engage in manufacturer accredited training and development opportunities
* Work with different levels of Technicians (Prep / PDI Technician, Service Technician, MOT Tester, Mechanic, Senior Tech / Diagnostic Tech, Master Technician)
Qualifications
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Motor industry experience (brand or non-brand)
* Full and valid UK driving licence
* Self-motivated, able to support the team, ambitious, and able to maintain high standards for all vehicles
* Brand experience is desirable but not essential; brand accreditation training will be provided
* Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience are desirable but not essential
