Safety & Security Manager

We are delighted to be supporting a respected and forward-thinking international membership organisation in the offshore and marine sector as they recruit a Safety & Security Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping safety culture, strengthening industry-wide standards, and driving meaningful improvements that directly impact the wellbeing of people working across the sector.
This organisation is committed to ensuring that safety remains at the heart of industry practice, and is seeking a specialist who can lead on safety data, analysis, reporting, and strategic enhancement—while also helping develop a modern approach to security risk within a rapidly evolving global landscape.
In this role, you will:
* Gather and analyse safety data from across the membership
* Produce regular safety flashes
* Lead and improve the annual safety report
* Drive safety improvement initiatives, including human factors and accident prevention
* Support safety and security committees and working groups
* Work with policy colleagues to advocate for safety improvements with regulators
* Develop and refine the organisation’s security strategy (e.g., GPS spoofing, autonomy/AI risks, cable sabotage)
* Manage contractor resource for safety data analysis and reporting
We’re looking for:
* Experience leading safety teams and embedding a strong safety culture
* Strong understanding of safety systems and processes
* Experience with audits, investigations or safety improvement work
* Experience working with committees, working groups or stakeholder forums
* Qualifications in safety, quality, auditing or assurance
