They pride themselves on a great culture and providing a massive amount of technical support for new staff. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D team and lead the mechanical activities.
In this role, you'll be working on the mechanical design and development of pressure housing products. You'll be able to see projects from concept briefs through to completion on the shop floor. You'll be dealing with initial technical designs using SolidWorks, through to dealing with BOMs through to manufacture. You'll receive on-the-job training in their product range.

THE ROLE:
*SolidWorks Design across a range of underwater products
*R&D projects - working throughout the full process from concept to manufacture
*Developing new design concepts
*Overseeing mechanical department, including machining and junior mechanical staff
THE PERSON:
*Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
*Experience designing pressure housing products and experience with Optical Assemblies
*Previously used SolidWorks
*Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
*No Relocators (unless a tie to the area)
