I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a BOM Validation Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As BOM Validation Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
* Lead and manage BOM validation activities, in line with PI planning expectations
* Arrange meetings with engineers, to validate parts.
* Raise issues using the AIMS tool or live engineering concerns.
* Create and publish master metrics via a night letter daily, during validation activities.
* Facilitate hand over meetings and confirm closure of AIMS, raised through validation.
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Strong project management and time/workload management skills ability to work alone.
* Ability to do complex data analysis, identify problems and develop effective solutions at pace.
* Aptitude for communication and the ability to articulate complex problems.
* Working knowledge of Excel (vlookup)
* Understanding of BOM usages.
* Experience of the Product Information processes and data structure would be an advantage
