SEN Teaching Assistant
Multiple Specialist Schools – Burnley – £500-£600 per week – Full-Time & Flexible Opportunities

We are currently working with a number of specialist provisions across Burnley seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs. Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced support staff and graduates alike.
The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you could be placed within a variety of specialist educational settings, including:
1. SEND Schools
2. MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) Schools
3. SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) Schools
4. PRUs (Pupil Referral Units)
5. Autism Specialist Provisions
6. Complex Needs and Communication Schools
Depending on your experience and preferences, you may support pupils through 1:1 interventions, small-group work, classroom support, behaviour management, emotional regulation strategies, or personalised learning programmes.
No two placements are the same, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop a broad range of SEN skills and identify the area of specialist education that best suits your long-term career ambitions.

Ideal Candidate – SEN Teaching Assistant

16. Psychology graduates and related degree holders encouraged to apply

18. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
