Childrens Residential Senior Support WorkerLocation: Mundesley, NorfolkSalary: £31,925 £32,875 per annum (depending on qualifications)Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeThe RoleEleven 11 Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Childrens Residential Senior Support Worker for a specialist residential service in Mundesley.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional ready to take the next step into a senior role. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality care while supporting the leadership and day-to-day operation of the home.You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential settingAct as the senior member of staff on shift, leading and supporting the teamBuild strong, trusting relationships with young people and act as a positive role modelSupport the development of independence, life skills, and emotional resilienceLine manage and support support workers, including oversight of performance and welfareCoordinate shifts effectively, allocating staff and resources as requiredParticipate in an on-call rota to ensure consistent service deliveryWork collaboratively with professionals to implement care plansSafely manage and respond to challenging behavioursAbout YouWe are looking for candidates who:Have experience in residential childcare or a similar environmentAre ready to step into a leadership roleDemonstrate strong communication and organisational skillsAre resilient, patient, and emotionally intelligentCan lead by example and support a team effectivelyAre confident decision-makers and problem solversA full, valid manual driving licence is essential.
