Head of Science | The Role:
* Lead and manage the Science Department, driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
* Deliver inspiring and rigorous Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Develop and enhance the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains engaging and academically rigorous.
* Support and mentor Science teachers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Analyse student data to track progress and implement effective intervention strategies where necessary.
* Contribute to whole-school initiatives and STEM outreach programs.
Head of Science | The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and extensive experience teaching and leading Science at secondary level.
* A 2:1 or higher degree in Science or a closely related subject.
* Proven leadership skills or the ambition and potential to step into a leadership role.
* A passion for Physics education and a track record of delivering exceptional student outcomes.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
