Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager/Project Support Expert to join our client's project stream in the UK. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for data analysis and the expansion of their Robotics Eco System - This will involved Start Up Projects and Retro Fits
1. B.Sc of Civil or Engineering or Architecture, or Country equivalent
2. Project management, construction or engineering experience with a proven track record of managing both new builds and the enhancement of existing warehouses/ logistics buildings
3. Construction market experience in one or more EU countries
4. Project Management experience from design phase through implementation and operation
5. Experience negotiating construction, procurement and labor contracts in EU
6. Proven track record of management of construction quality systems. Having deployed from scratch a system would be a preferred asset
7. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
This will include the extension of existing facilities. The Construction Manager will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the EMEA network infrastructure and compliance. This role will analyze and evaluate different facility scenarios and build-out designs. In addition, this candidate has to support the standardization of the technical and facility related processes and systems. This opportunity combines construction engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management. It requires a person who can show proven ability in the planning and design, and project management / control of existing facility buildings.
Key job responsibilities
8. Responsible for overseeing construction engineering, planning, and design for (Distribution) Centers and other expansion projects
9. Responsible for project support on fulfillment network buildings and additional capacity requirements within existing European Fulfillment Centers
10. Undertake construction engineering design and remodel projects
11. Prepare reports, specifications, technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required
12. Survey facilities, develop and document a procedures to audit the facility, provide evaluations and analysis, and recommend solutions to facility infrastructure, safety and security problems involving facilities and people
13. Negotiate contracts with vendors and present formal documentation for approval when required
14. Ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost effective and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements
15. Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals and coordination of subcontractors
16. Facilitate and team with others on due diligence evaluation of new opportunities
17. Coach and guide all project teams (sub-contractors, maintenance engineers and commissioning engineers) throughout the full project life cycle
18. Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues
19. Audit contractors to check that the skills and competences of contract labor are appropriate to need, and they are fit to undertake the work on which they will be deployed
20. Inform contractors of projected changes in resource or work demand so that they can take appropriate action
21. Establish and operate the information systems necessary for effective scheduling and recording of contract work
22. Support contractors' work and help them to achieve higher performance levels.
23. Coach other team new members on best practices.

Requirements:
31. Strong knowledge of Robotics, with specific expertise in Mechatronics
32. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Support Manager
33. Excellent data analysis skills
34. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
35. Strong project tracking and management abilities
36. Familiarity with inventory management processes
37. Knowledge of Coupra (or similar project management tools) is advantageous
