Afrimat CM KZN Central (Pty) Ltd, based in Dundee has a vacancy for a:
Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies
* Matric (Grade 12)
* Valid code 08 driver’s license will be advantageous.
* Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the company standards for medical fitness.
* Must have sound knowledge and understanding of the mining environment.
* Must have a good understanding of the legal aspects pertaining to quarrying.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Have good planning and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team but also without supervision.
* Good leadership and basic financial skills.
* Must have the ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven.
* Experience in logistics.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
* Dispatching operations.
* Scheduling and verifying of loads according to orders.
* Analyze orders and quantities required for each job.
* Maintain records of all orders received, dispatched correctly; ensuring all delivery notes are signed etc.
* Reporting any dispatch and related queries to your supervisor immediately.
* Adhere to all rules and regulations that are applicable to the operations.
* Assist in keeping all tasks related to maintenance and ordering systems up to date.
* Maintain database and spreadsheets as required related to admin tasks.
