Salary: £18,200 - 19,500 per year Requirements: Extensive experience designing and delivering complex technology solutions, ideally in public sector, government, or other highly regulated environments. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, NAF, or Zachman. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps/CI-CD practices. Strong understanding of Web Applications, Microservices, APIs, authentication/authorization protocols, and data architecture. Knowledge of secure software development practices, GDPR, OWASP, and NCSC cloud security principles. Responsibilities: Lead the technical design of large and highly complex systems, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle to embed architectural considerations into all phases of delivery. Provide technical guidance, governance, and mentorship to development and delivery teams. Evaluate technical designs, changes, and proposals, making recommendations and assessing associated risks. Develop technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies to inform future solutions. Act as a technical authority during client engagements, proof-of-concepts, and pre-sales activities. Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices, including security and compliance considerations. Support internal capability development, including mentoring junior staff and promoting knowledge sharing.
