POST: Cleaner LOCATION: Shireland Collegiate Academy, Waterloo Road, Smethwick GRADE: Grade A, SCP 3 £24,796 per annum pro rata (£12.89 per hour ) HOURS: 20 hours per week, 52 weeks 4 hours per day, 06:00am – 08:00am & 15:30pm – 17:30pm We are seeking a hardworking and committed employee who shares in our passion for making a difference to the lives of students by ensuring the cleanliness provision provided at the school is of a high standard. The post holder will work as part of a team cleaning designated areas within the school to ensure they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition. Key Responsibilities: Routine cleaning of premises and furnishings in all room types during term time, to include vacuuming, damp dusting, mopping, machine cleaning floors, polishing and emptying of litter bins. Opening and locking of school gates as required The successful candidate will: Work as part of a team cleaning designated areas within the schools to ensure they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
