Context: Within our Global Supply Chain (GSC) business, we manufacture and supply reliable, high-quality medicines and vaccines to meet patients’ needs and drive our performance. Our network of 37 medicines and vaccines manufacturing sites delivered 1.7 billion packs of medicines and 409 million vaccine doses in 2024 to help make a positive impact on health. Programme design: This two-year programme is designed to prepare you for future technical, operational and engineering roles within GSK’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) in your chosen discipline.
What you’ll experience
* Cross-Functional Exposure: Spend time at your home site, working on cross-functional projects and rotations to deepen your expertise and knowledge of the business.
* Kaizen Assignment: A short-term breadth assignment, potentially with global scope, to expand your skills beyond your home site.

What you’ll do
* Problem Solving: Lead impactful continuous improvement projects while developing lean methodologies and Six Sigma skills.
* Drive change and innovation: Identify and implement initiatives to streamline processes using Standard Work, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
* Make a difference: Lead projects to improve lead times and eliminate inefficiencies to keep the supply chain performing at peak levels.
* Collaboration: Work with experts to prioritise and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in coaching and project management.
* Business Excellence: Contribute to the deployment of GSK’s production system (GPS) strategy and lean standards in production environments.
* Shape the future of manufacturing: Support the implementation of lean standards in production environments.
* Drive performance excellence: Establish and monitor KPIs to maintain high standards.
* Empower others: Train and coach employees and managers in applying continuous improvement techniques and tools.
* Digital Data & Analytics: Leverage technologies like AI and PowerBI to analyse data and boost productivity and efficiency.
