Sales Commissions and Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

* Commission Calculation and Reporting
o Accurately calculate sales commissions based on established commission plans and sales performance metrics
o Ensure timely and error-free processing of commission payments to sales representatives
o Review and validate commission calculations for completeness and accuracy
o Analyse sales performance data to track trends, identify outliers, and provide insights into commission payout distributions
o Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate commission-related metrics and performance to Addepar's executive team
o Find opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
o Continue to buildout Addepar’s sales commission techstack
* Commission Plan Management
o Maintain and update commission plan documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
o Monitor and evaluate commission plan effectiveness, recommending adjustments as needed to drive desired sales behaviours and outcomes
o Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standard methodologies in commission administration
o Implement and maintain controls to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of commission data
* Business Operations & Insights
o Support the reporting and analysis of headcount data, providing the business with a clear picture of our team's structure and growth
o Go beyond commissions to deliver broader business insights. You'll analyse various operational data to help leadership make informed decisions and improve overall performance
* Cross-functional Collaboration
o Partner with finance and human resources teams to ensure alignment of commission calculations with payroll processes and compliance requirements
o Work closely with the Strategy & Ops team to reconcile sales data, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries related to commissions


Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, mathematics, or related field would be desirable
* Previous experience working with sales commissions, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth company environment OR
* Previous experience in finance, audit, or accounting roles, from practice or industry. While prior commissions experience is a plus, full commissions training can be provided to the right candidate. Accounting qualification desired but not required
* Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and reporting
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software, and Salesforce CRM software. Preferred experience with a commission software such as SPIFF, Xactly, and/or CaptivatieIQ
* Growth mindset and unwavering commitment to continuous process improvement
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
