Description
CCP are seeking a Senior Games Designer to join the EVE: Vanguard team in their London office, United Kingdom.
You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and refining engaging game systems in Unreal Engine, and bringing fast-paced, immersive combat experiences to life.

Responsibilities
* Pitch, design, and prototype game systems and mechanics.
* Implement approved designs using Unreal Engine.
* Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including feature specifications and implementation guidelines.
* Develop handling, weapon gameplay, and combat mechanics, including balancing and data creation.
* Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other designers to integrate systems seamlessly into gameplay.
* Maintain balance between multiple gameplay systems to ensure a cohesive and engaging player experience.
* Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and actively contribute to design meetings.
* Implement, balance, and bug-fix gameplay features from concept to release.
Your Profile
* Previous experience as a Senior Game Designer in the videogame industry with at least 1 shipped title, ideally in the shooter genre.
* Proven experience prototyping in Unreal Engine.
* Strong understanding of shooter mechanics, player feedback, and pacing.
* Passion and a strong interest in competitive and co-operative shooters.
* Strong UX sensibility and ability to clearly communicate & document ideas.
* Deep knowledge of rules, systems, and gameplay mechanics.
* Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
