As an Automation Engineer, you will own the lab’s automation stack, leveraging configuration management (e.g., Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) to provision, update, and maintain integration environments. What will I be doing: As the Automation Engineer, you’ll automate everything from base images and standardized configurations to test data seeding and synthetic traffic, ensuring our integration catalogue remains healthy, secure, and up to date. Key responsibilities include: Automating Environment Lifecycle : Build reproducible environments, standardize OS configurations, and manage rollouts via CI/CD pipelines. Collaborating with Product Teams : Configure new integrations, validate third-party technologies, and document setup and troubleshooting steps. Ensuring Observability & Reliability : Implement logging, metrics, health checks, and automated drift detection; define SLOs and SLIs for uptime and recovery. Documentation & Enablement : Maintain living documentation and integrate automation into self-service pipelines. What Experience do I need: You will be a skilled professional with a strong foundation in DevOps and automation, experienced in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and scripting.
