Wellbeing Physiologist (Rehab specialist) Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria Full-time | 37.5 hours/week Salary: Competitive, based on experience Are you someone who thrives on helping others move better, feel stronger, and recover faster? My client are looking for a proactive and compassionate rehabilitation professional to join a growing team that’s redefining how people return to health and stay there. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll work with individuals recovering from injury, managing long-term conditions, or simply aiming to improve their physical performance. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, autonomy, and evidence-based care. What You’ll Be Doing - Carry out assessments to understand movement patterns and identify barriers to recovery - Create and deliver tailored rehab and performance plans, aligning with goals - Use manual therapy techniques and functional exercise to support recovery and resilience - Provide 1-to-1 and group sessions promoting health, confidence and independence - Contribute to workplace wellbeing initiatives and functional rehab programmes What You Bring - Degree in Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy or a related field essential - MSc or additional training in strength and conditioning (ideal but not essential) - Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., BASRaT, SST). - Solid experience in MSK rehab and exercise prescription. - Confident working with a range of individuals, including those with chronic or complex needs - Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude. - A passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
