As a Sales Consultant in solar PV, battery storage and EV charging, you’ll be the face-to-face advisor helping warm customers turn interest into action. You’ll meet people in their homes, understand what matters to them, and guide them towards smart energy systems that reduce bills, improve energy independence and support a cleaner future.
What you’ll do
You’ll manage the full sales journey across your Essex territory, working with warm inbound enquiries, referrals and pre-qualified opportunities. Your role will be to visit customers, assess their needs, discuss their energy usage, property type, budget and goals, then present the most suitable solar, battery or EV charging solution.
Using Aurora system designs, you’ll explain proposals, quotations and ROI or payback assessments in plain English. You’ll help customers understand generation, self-consumption, HEMS, tariffs and storage benefits without pressure, jargon or hard-sell tactics.
You’ll keep accurate HubSpot records, manage your pipeline, forecast opportunities and work closely with survey, technical and operations teams to make sure every signed project is handed over cleanly and delivered with confidence.

About you
You’ll be a confident consultative salesperson who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers and building trust in person. You may already have experience in domestic solar sales, renewable energy, energy services, home improvements, EV charging or another technical field sales environment.
You’ll be commercially sharp, organised and comfortable explaining technical information in a way that feels simple, relevant and reassuring. Experience with Aurora, HubSpot, energy tariffs, incentives, HEMS or battery storage would be a strong advantage.
