Join Sigma Plantfinder – We're Hiring a Business Development Executive – Machinery Sourcing & Supplier Development, located onsite in our Middlesbrough office.
Full Time Position, 7:30-16:30 Monday – Friday, Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.

This isn’t your average sales role – it’s a chance to shape our global supply network and ensure our customers get the machinery they need, when they need it.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Identify new suppliers across global markets – from Europe to Asia and beyond.
* Source specific machinery based on customer demand, market trends, and equipment lifecycle.
* Conduct market research to stay ahead of equipment trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and agents worldwide.
* Work closely with our internal teams to match supply with customer demand and commercial goals.
* Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure quality, reliability, and value.
* Stay hands-on with client feedback to guide sourcing strategies and innovation.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:
* Solid B2B experience and understanding of international machinery supply chains.
* A knack for spotting trends, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating smart deals.
* Great communication and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to work independently and make things happen.
