Community Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Community Manager who can manage a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. Our ideal candidates enjoy mentoring and developing their team, have the personality to positively interact with applicants, residents and teammates. They enjoy leading teams, like to work hard while having fun and are strong problem-solvers.

Has experience in working at a large Family Affordable Housing Apartment complex and shares our mission, vision, and values. The candidate is a dynamic leader, possesses the ability to motivate and lead teams, and is fully competent with all phases of financial and variance reporting. Background in PBS8, marketing savvy, proficient in MS Office and Property Management software. Enjoys serving residents, supporting teammates, and driving positive, consistent results.
The Details
Community Managers are fully accountable and responsible for providing overall supervision of the community. Overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful. Specific duties include:
* Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
* Developing and managing the budget
* Ensuring property meets KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset, and Budget Management
* Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reportingEnsuring site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all residents
* Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree preferred)
* Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
* Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
* English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
* Ability to pass a full background check
Preferred Requirements for Affordable Housing properties
* Strong experience in affordable housing programs, participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
* Experience with resident-occupied project renovations.
Additional Information
* The work schedule is Monday-Friday (occasional weekends and evenings as needed)
* Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
* Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of background check
Salary
$60,000-$65,000 per year
